Though Astolfo is a boy, he is an androgynous-looking male, which means he looks partly like a boy and partly like a girl. He also prefers to wear a female dress because he says they’re cute and he likes cute things. Like a lot of the servants in the series, Astolfo is mostly seen wearing his battle outfit. But the character also wears civilian girl outfits. This guide will feature Astolfo’s battle outfit and one of his civilian outfit.

The battle outfit consists of a black long-sleeves dress that has a red design near the neck area and a white armor-like skirt with gold and red designs. The cosplay set will also come with a white cape that has fur around the collar, a pair of elbow-length white gloves, and a pair of red bands placed around the biceps area. The cosplay set will also include a pair of black thigh-length stockings and a pair of white boots with gold design. The set is completed with Astolfo’s sword prop with sheath and a long pink wig in the character’s hairstyle. A school uniform sailor dress is also included, as one of the character’s civilian clothes.

About Astolfo Costume

Astolfo was a legend since he has already accomplished many feats. But he was also called a “weak” legend because he has also experienced a lot of defeats and failures. He was constantly defeated in a lot of tournaments and even falling for traps. Nevertheless, this didn’t diminish the character’s confidence since he doesn’t look at his mistakes or failures as actual defeats.

The character was also a handsome looking guy and a real ladies’ man. He carried over this trait when he became a servant. But like some of the servants, his appearance was altered a bit. He retained his gender as the character is still a boy, but his physique and facial characteristics make him look more like a girl than a boy. It makes Astolfo a unique role to dress up as. If you look at the Astolfo cosplay photos, you can see that it’s mostly females who choose to cosplay as Rider of Black.
