Shipping and Delivery
We make the costumes on order. This means that we begin making your costume after you make the call as the costume is custom made to your size and specifications. This normally takes about two to three weeks. So you can expect your costume to be ready after such a period of time has elapsed.
The shipping time after this is highly dependent on your location. The most urgent orders can be processed and arrive at your doorstep in 2 weeks around.
Duty and Tax Insurance
Every customer should be familiar with the import duties and policies of their individual countries. This is because the cost of the import duty and all the taxes that are charged on the goods is on the customer. We do this because every country’s policies on taxes and import duties is different thus unpredictable. Most countries do not charge import duties on these products. However in some countries, import duty may be charged, especially via express shipping.
Return and Replacement
Order cancellation
Your order cancellation is only free if you make the cancellation within 24 hours of making the order. If you make a cancellation after the passing of 24 hours, you will receive a handling charge of 30% of the cost of the item. The orders, however cannot be cancelled after the expiration of three business days.
Return/Exchange Policy
The exchange policy at SheCos is quite client-friendly. They allow returns up to 7 days after the delivery of the package. The returns can only be accepted under the following conditions:
• The items have to be in a resalable condition. If they come back with any defect, fur, dirt or odor they cannot be eligible for refund.
• The items have to be of a brand that was not discontinued by the company.
If the above standards are met, the return address will be provided and a refund for the price of the items is issued. We do not refund the shipping costs as they are borne by the buyer. There are exceptions to situations when a client can be refunded:
• If the product was made exactly to your specifications, a refund will not be offered. Instead, we will work out a solution to make them suitable.
• If the product is used it is not eligible for return. Any product not bearing its original tag and packaging will not be accepted.
In case of a complaint, e-mail us with information on the order number, type of defect and send a photo or two of the defect.
FAQs
Q: Are there extra costs for custom orders?
A: there is no extra cost regardless of an order being special. However, there might be additional costs if the size of costume is past XXL. This is because of the extra fabric costs that we encounter.
Q: What is the method to buy shoes, accessories, wigs and costumes all at once?
A: Only the costumes are listed on our website. In case you require shoes, wigs and accessories, feel free to contact us.
Q: Can the shop accept a commission and what is the cost?
A: Yes, we can and do. The order has to be placed at least a month prior to when you need them to give us time to develop them. Contact us at [email protected] to place an order. You will find our prices very reasonable depending on the order.
Q: How do you wash the costumes?
A: A majority of the costumes we make are made from either satin, leather or polyester. So, it would be best to take them to a professional dry-cleaner for washing. However, if you are to wash them yourself, follow the following guidelines:
• Always hand wash them in lukewarm water.
• With the exception of costumes made from fur, leather and light materials, most of the costumes can be ironed.
• Wash separately to prevent mix up of colors with other clothes or costumes.
